The WAM Coalition (Women in the Arts & Media) combines our member organizations' abilities and strengths, focusing on issues of concern to women in the arts and media. We are committed to being the link between our member organizations as we collaborate to empower women in our industry through advocacy, mentoring, networking, and events.

If you're developing a project in the city, here's something worth knowing: most writers, directors, and producers don't realize they don't own the rights to their own work until it's too late. This clinic breaks down exactly that — books, scripts, life rights, deal structure — in plain language, before things get complicated.
This kind of guidance can save a project before it even gets off the ground.

“The Nowhere Women team has exciting news: the energy around the message of our choreopoem was calling for more than just a play, so we have started "We Are The Nowhere Women Movement" in hopes to uplift voices of gender based violence survivors through art. With the award money we won from the Student Collaboration Award, we were able to start hosting workshops, events, and create merchandise to continue to raise money for our cause.
