**Women’s Studio Workshop Internships** (September-December, 2014, Rosendale, NY) – Currently accepting applications for two internships at Women’s Studio Workshop:
Studio Internship – Works with WSW staff on projects including papermaking, book arts, and arts administration. In addition to assisting with the ongoing operations of the facility, interns assist artists-in-residence with their projects, work with artist-educators, and participate as studio assistants during classes.
Arts Administration Internship – For people considering a career in arts administration. Intern works alongside WSW’s administrative staff and learns how to keep an arts organization functioning smoothly. Projects include database management, membership systems, donor and grant research, event planning assistance, writing and distributing press releases, archiving documents, answering phones, and sending e-communications. Graphic design and web skills are a plus; experience with Filmaker Pro, Dreamweaver, InDesign, and Phootshop are beneficial, but not required.
Internships include housing and a stipend of $250/month. Interns work 40 hours a week and the session culminates with an exhibition of work created during their stay.
